When the laser paddles are placed on the skin, the cold red laser beams penetrate the skin just deep enough to reach the layers of fat. When the light hits the fat cells, a rapid chain of events takes place. Firstly, pores form on the cells causing them to spill out. The water, glycerol and fatty acids move into the interstitial space beneath the fatty layer in the skin. Then further water, fatty acids and glycerol spill out. The adipocyte cells are therefore reduced in size.

You must undertake some form of exercise (preferably cardio vascular) to raise your heart rate and increase your metabolic rate. Your body will use the fuel available in your blood stream, which includes the fatty acids and triglycerides released by the Lipo Laser treatments. Ultrasound Cavitation
Cavitation is based on low frequency ultrasound which create bubbles in the liquid that surround the fat cells, causing them to gradually grow and implode. As the membranes of fat cells do not have the structural capacity to withstand the vibrations, the effect of cavitation easily breaks them, while sparing the vascular, nervous and muscular tissue.
After disruption and emulsification of the fat cells, the liquid contents of the fat cells (triglycerides) is released into the interstitial fluid between the cells and then released into the lymphatic system. This fluid is then metabolized to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as the energy source, whereas the insoluble free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food.
